HWS is proud to announce our 2025 Summer Music Scholarships!
The Hanover Wind Symphony is looking for young musicians to apply
for their Summer Music Scholarships.
These scholarships are open to students with a passion for playing woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments who are looking to further their playing ability. The scholarships are open to students who are presently in grades 8-11 and who reside in New Jersey. Awards will be based upon a recommendation from their music educator (either public or private), an interview, and an audition. The scholarships will provide an honorarium that can be used to support the student’s musical development. Examples include private study with an accomplished teacher or attendance at an established music program such as an honors ensemble or a summer music program.
Past winners have gone on to Berklee College of Music, Indiana University, Manhattan School of Music, Michigan State University, and Rutgers University.
